Angelica (angelica sinensis) root

Angelica root, or Dang Gui in Chinese, has been used as a tonic for the blood and to treat menstruation problems in China for centuries. The essential oil can be obtained from steam distillation, CO₂ extraction or solvent extraction (absolute).
