Roman chamomile (chamaemelum nobile) flower
Chamomile flower is one of the oldest living herbs used in the treatment of skin problems and inflammation. An infusion of its flowers, the ever popular chamomile tea, clams the nerves, soothes anger, stress and promotes sleep. It works well on overly active children or in distress and it is the only herb that enhances the golden highlights in blond hair. Known as the plant doctor, it can help revive a dying rose bush when planted around it. In folk lore, gamblers often wash their hands in an infusion of its flowers to bring luck and money.
