Eucalyptus (globulous) leaf

Among the over seven hundred known species, Eucalyptus globulus, eucalyptus globulus, also known as Blue Gum, is the most commonly used, and perhaps the best type, for respiratory support as its essential oil contains the highest (60-75%) 1, 8 cineole level. It also provides quick relief to muscle aches and pains besides being antiseptic.  Although not usually used in perfume composition given its strong medicinal aroma, having its scent in applications such as body wash or shampoo may not be such a bad idea as it gives the assurance of its antimicrobial property in action while in use.
