two moon ikebana

Once I knew two ladies. Their fates enmeshed. Inseparable. One older, one younger. Yet, sometimes, it’s hard to tell which is which for there’s a certain playfulness in the former and melancholy in the latter.
There’s strength in both of them. And the love they share waxes and wanes like two moons bound by mystic cosmic waves as they orbit each other, dancing in a sea of darkness.
I would’ve liked to get to know the duo more. But Destiny had other plans installed. Still, I’m glad that I was able to give each of them a gift before they departed, and I wish for them all the joy and love that the world can give as Mother and Child continue their journey. As one.
